The reverse of the subsidization and the introduction of distribution costs make PV panels less attractive for customers. Various manufacturers are researching to adapt the supply to the demand and vice versa by using invertor/battery combinations. This is beneficial for both the client and distribution system operators, but also encouraging the manufacturers of PV panels. This way the distribution costs will be declined and clients are encouraged again to choose a PV system. Lemcko created a test setup to monitor supply and demand in order to integrate the invertor/battery combinations into the power grid.
